The Crayon Prediction

Effect: The magician displays a big bucket of crayons to onlooking children at a birthday party or event & truns his back. He instructs a child to pick a crayon from the bucket; any crayon he wants. The magician tells the child to put the crayon in his hands, of at which is behind his back. He turns around & brings out one hand while leaving the other with the crayon behind his back & touches the childs head telling him to think the color without telling it. the magician instantly names the color & proves to be correct - while bringing out the crayon afterwards.

Secret: A simple childrens trick. Anyone can do this! To begin display a box or bucket of crayons to onlooking children & give it to a child to hold, turn your back & tell any child to place any crayon in your hand behind your back. Turn around & face the children asking who placed the crayon upon your hand. when doing this, this is your slight misdirection - simply color your left index fingers fingernail with the crayon; under the nail. After the misdirection & dirty work has been complete allow the crayon to rest on the palm of the right hand. Bring out your left hand & touch on the childs head, telling him you can sense the color by touch. When touching his or her forhead simply look at your fingernail (under) & note the color of at which is showing. This was the selection. Drop your hand to the side & name the crayons color aloud. It's proven correct when the crayons brung out from behind yor back! Bow to them children!!! Smile

Tip: This is a tip you must follow. Make sure your using brand name crayons - like Crayola, RoseArt, or other great brands. Don't use cheap crayons. I've been in a situation with usage of cheap crayons & sometimes the color cannot be noted on the fingernail of your index finger, due to the lack of cheap wax of the crayon. Follow this tip & get the good crayons, they have good wax for easy identification of color in the routine! Enjoy.
